| Spinning the Love: Used-Bike Donation for Powering Up the Aboriginal Cycling |
| Taiwan Cup 2011 international road race has come to an end the world-class cyclists has the leisure to enjoy the sceneries of beautiful island name Formosa, Tourism Bureau of MOTC has a charity campaign which arranged international racers to donate used-bikes to aboriginal kids name "Spinning the Love", the goal is to make the kids live in eastern Taiwan can all enjoy the passion of cycling and also promote healthy means of everyday transportation.
"Pisilian tribe" is made up of Amis aboriginals, Pisilian culture center is their meeting and performance hall and "Paw Paw Drum" were play here. The drum show made up of a lively group of youths age 10-17 from the Pisirian tribe in East coast of Taiwan, kids show their talents and hospitality with "Paw Paw Drum". The play instrument was revamped by fishery equipment (fishing float) into renovated African drums. The tribe welcomed the international cyclists with exciting dance and powerful music.
The racer handmade the gleaming bike flags cooperate with kids and installed them on donation bikes for distinct visibility, the kids received the total of 100 bikes. This is the first time that Amis kids interacted with international racers, it's a great opportunity that kids know more about what's a racer life would be, someday they might dream and turned to be a pro rider.
Time flied by with 2 hours of welcome event, for the kids of Amis were all exciting spent and talked with the elite racers, the kids were reluctant to say goodbye instead gave them a big hug, the racers shared the colorful racing life and the kids learned from the experience expanding their horizon.
